Ferrari Maserati Cars International Trading (Shanghai) Company has filed a report to China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine on its recall for defective F355 sedans.
The company says that from November 25, 2009, it has recalled imported Ferrari F355 cars made before January 12, 1998, due to a fuel pump problem. The company claims that five of these cars have been sold in China.
It is learned that the problem with the fuel pump may cause a fire or engine failure.
The importer states that it will replace the faulty components free of charge.
