The China Foundation of Consumer Protection has released a test report which shows that some makes of alcoholic liquor are substandard.
The substandard brands include Du Kang Liquor made by the Ruyang Dukang Group.
It is reported that CFCP took samples of some alcoholic drinks sold on the market and commissioned certified testing institutions to analyze them. The test results showed that some liquors — including Dukang Liquor — are substandard. The problem with Du Kang wine is said to be in the balance of acid and ester concentrations in the liquor, which affects the flavor.
CFCP says that it reminds consumers to pay attention to logos and trade marks and choose well-known branded products when buying liquor.
