The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a global body for professional accountants, has signed a framework agreement with Xuri School of Industry and Trade Management at Donghua University.
Sun Minggui, the director of XSITM, stated that the agreement was a win-win strategy for Donghua University and ACCA, as it will not only help Donghua University realize its mission of being international and training more excellent students, but it will also assist ACCA to attract more members and enlarge its influence in China.
The signing of the agreement is said to be part of XSITM's implementation of offering international oriented education. XSITM will integrate ACCA's courses into its own accounting curriculum and encourage students to study for internationally recognized professional qualifications.
ACCA is one of the world's largest professional accountancy organizations. As one of the first international accountancy institution to enter the Chinese market, ACCA has 20,000 members and 32,000 students in China, and it has set up offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
