The World Anti-Doping Agency has signed an agreement with Lenovo, making Lenovo the first-ever sponsor of WADA.
Lenovo has presented 8,000 flash disks with material about anti-doping to WADA. This is also the first time that WADA has adopted electronic media instead of traditional paper-based media to promulgate the significance of anti-doping.
WADA was established by the International Olympic Committee in 1999. Besides doping tests during the Olympics, WADA also offers educational plans to athletes on relevant policies, laws and regulations about anti-doping.
Lenovo says this is not a commercial sponsorship but an important mission for corporate social responsibility and Lenovo's Olympics strategy. Now the flash disk has become the sign of athletes supporting anti-doping.
