The Chinese herbal shampoo maker BaWang International said in a recent statement that a report claiming that two of its products contain a cancer-causing substance was inaccurate.
The company said in the statement that its products are manufactured under strict quality control and have passed several quality control tests.
The company also stated that its products meet all the relevant safety standards for mainland China, Hong Kong, the Europe Union, and the U.S. FDA.
Bawang also said that its products contain amounts of 1,4-dioxane in quantities too small to cause harm to human beings.
