Marco Polo Parkside, Beijing recently sent a van-full of school supplies to Beijing Third Deaf School. The school supplies, with a value of over CNY7,000, were purchased with the donations raised at the hotel's Lighting Ceremony in December 2009. At a handover ceremony the school principal, Mr. Chen, and 30 deaf students expressed their thanks to the hotel's general manager, Stanley Lau, and representatives from the hotel.
