BUCG Sets Up Environmental Protection Company

The Beijing Urban Construction Group has announced plans to set up an environmental investment company with Beijing Urban Construction Group Road & Bridge Engineering Co., Ltd.

The new company features a total registered capital of RMB100 million, of which RMB55 million is invested by BUCG for which it takes 55% of the company's stake.

BUCG is a comprehensive building enterprise that is engaged in project contracting, real estate development, design consulting and capital operation. With a total asset of RMB36 billion, the company has more than 30000 employees and achieved an annual business revenue of up to RMB30 billion. The company currently consists of one listed company, 27 wholly-owned or holding companies and 22 companies in which it holds stakes. The company and its 40 affiliates have passed ISO 9000, ISO 14001 and OHS 18000 certification.
