Chinese fast food chain J-Kungfu opened a national unified customer service hotline on March 15, World Consumer Rights Day.
With this hotline, which is the first of its kind in China, customers can raise complaints and suggestions about any of the 250 restaurants of J-Kungfu around the country.
A representative in charge of customer service at J-Kungfu says that for general complaints, such as slow delivery, they will be handled immediately. For some complicated ones, they will be solved within 24 hours. Even for some very tough problems, the company also promises to give a satisfactory answer to customers within three days.
Famous fast food brands like KFC and McDonald's have not opened national unified customer service hotlines yet. Early on March 15, 2005, McDonald's opened its customer service hotline in Hubei and Henan. In March 15, 2007, the hotline was extend to Shanghai, Anhui and Sichuan. However, the hotline has not yest covered the whole country.
